Mobile Sacred Space is a restorative justice-based emergency response vehicle designed to bring peace circles, de-escalation, accountability, and community resources directly to moments of crisis.

​

When conflict happens, trained keepers provide a calm and sacred space for people to pause, be heard, tell the truth, identify harm, accept responsibility, and begin repair. The goal is to expand public safety beyond punishment by offering a community-led pathway toward healing, accountability, and restoration.

Domestic disputes are one of the major reasons people call 911. Many of these calls involve fear, hurt, emotional escalation, unresolved trauma, poverty, substance use, relationship breakdown, or long-standing family conflict.

​

Police are often expected to respond to these situations, but most officers are not deeply trained in restorative de-escalation, trauma-informed dialogue, family systems, peace circle practice, or community healing. In many situations, police presence alone can intensify fear, shame, anger, or defensiveness.

​

At the same time, there are trained restorative justice practitioners, circle keepers, social workers, violence interrupters, faith leaders, counselors, elders, and community members who have the skills, wisdom, and heart to help keep people safe without defaulting to jail.
