Garvey DEPORTED!

Marcus Mosiah Garvey was a Black nationalist and Pan-Africanist who organized millions toward Black pride, economic independence, and global unity.

While in the U.S., Garvey founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association, launched the Negro World newspaper, built Black-owned businesses, and started the Black Star Line, one of the largest Black economic movements in history. At its height, UNIA had millions of members worldwide.
